Parkrun News 28/03/16

Tony Madge tackled the scenic but far from flat Wollaton Park Easter 10k and his time of 44:20 gave him a 1st Vet 60 position and 65th overall from the 400 plus field.

Despite the local Belton House Parkrun being cancelled for the bank Holiday weekend it didn’t deter the club’s enthusiasm as they had 16 athletes compete at 7 other events.

Star performance of the week goes to Will Tucker who was first across the line at the Lincoln event and reduced his PB by a significant 47 seconds.

Will’s sister Sophia also had a fine performance at Lincoln reducing her PB by 17 seconds. At the Peterborough event Aaron Hunt continues to show good form with a top 5 position in the 500 strong field and reduced his PB by 2 seconds.
