Athlete of the Month for August is Sophie Stanley for completing the 40-mile Grim Reaper challenge at Grimsthorpe Castle.
Athletes of the Month for June: Abbie Byron for 300m, Janice Anderson for age-related 5km.
Athletes of the Month for May: Amy Hunt, ranked 4th in the UK for 150m & Keith Measures for excellent recent age-related performances in 10km (etc.) road races.
Athlete of the Month for April is Chris Bainbridge for his U20 Hammer Throw of 39.50m and William Lumsden for his U17 Javelin Throw of 45.23m.
Athlete of the Month for March is Adam Madge for his excellent performance in our Newton’s Fraction half-marathon, finishing in 10th place in a time of 1:25:23.
February’s Athlete of the Month is Helen Braybrook for her excellent performance in her first year of U13 cross-country.
January’s Athlete of the Month is Jake Richardson for his excellent recent performance in cross country, including his 17th place in the U17M Northern Championships.
Saskia Hunt has been awarded November’s Athlete of the Month for her excellent recent performance and commitment to cross country running. Similarly, George Hatton has been awarded December’s Athlete of the Month for his excellent recent performance and commitment to cross country running.
