February’s Athlete of the Month is Helen Braybrook for her excellent performance in her first year of U13 cross-country.
January’s Athlete of the Month is Jake Richardson for his excellent recent performance in cross country, including his 17th place in the U17M Northern Championships.
Saskia Hunt has been awarded November’s Athlete of the Month for her excellent recent performance and commitment to cross country running. Similarly, George Hatton has been awarded December’s Athlete of the Month for his excellent recent performance and commitment to cross country running.
There was an excellent turn-out at our annual Presentation Night. Guest of Honour Chris Cohen gave an interesting insight to the “back-room” activities at the 2012 Olympics & Paralympics. A summary of the awards can be found via the links at the top of this page.
Athlete of the Month for September is Josh Brown for reaching the English Schools’ Combined Events Final. Well done Josh.
Athlete of the Month for October is not an individual, but a team – the U13 Boys’ Cross Country Team! Well done to Will Tucker, George Hatton, Aaron Hunt, Lewis Davey, Rori Rodell and Angus Sharp.
Athlete of the Month for July is Zoe Lucas (U17W) for reaching the semi-final of the 80m Hurdles at the recent English Schools’ Championships; ditto for August is Lewis Davey (U13B), ranked 2nd in the UK for High Jump, 1.58m
Athlete of the Month for June is Oliver Williams for his excellent 1st place in the Lincolnshire Schools’ Championships U17M Long Jump, 6.35m.
Athletes of the Month for May are Laura Evans for her excellent club record and ranking 3rd in the East Midlands for 34.20m Discus Throw and Arthur Short for his excellent age-graded performance of 3:05:19 in the recent Milton Keynes Marathon, his best time in the last ten years!
Athlete of the Month for February is John Ellerby for his excellent age-related time of 1:35 in the recent Sleaford ½-Marathon.
Athlete of the Month for January is Jake Richardson. Jake has been very consistent in this season’s Cross Country and was 42nd in the U17 Northern Championships.
