Coaching and Training Helpers Required

With the retirement of Caroline and Ian Richards, we need to increase the number of qualified coaches and helpers at the club. We’d like to have a pool of coaches to ensure we can continue to provide the level of training currently available – many clubs have expressed envy at the level of coaching GAC provides its members – and to do this, we need new people. If you’re a qualified coach, and you’re able to offer some time to the club, please do get in touch. We know not everyone is able to commit to coming week in, week out, which is why we’d like to increase our coaching numbers to give individual coaches the ability to commit to fewer sessions, but know that we’re going to be able to offer our members the advice and guidance they want.

If you’re interested in becoming a coach, please get in touch – training is available.

We also need helpers – you might be a member, or the parent of a member. If you can make it along to training and would be interested in assisting our coaches, we want to hear from you too.

Please don’t be shy in coming forward – if everyone thinks other people will step up, no one will! This is really vital for the club, so please contact either Philip Garner (p.garner4@ntlworld.com) or Dave Eldridge (davejeldridge@yahoo.co.uk).
